Rachel Davis

Doctor of Occupational Therapy

Rachel Davis, OTD, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist with experience supporting children and adults across outpatient pediatric, school-based, and community settings. She has worked within school districts and outpatient clinics to provide comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions targeting regulation, sensory processing, motor development, and daily living activities. Rachel collaborates closely with caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to promote meaningful participation across home, school, and community environments.

Rachel uses a nature and play-based, client-centered approach to therapy, emphasizing creativity, flexibility, and individualized care. She is passionate about designing engaging, strengths-based interventions that reflect each person’s unique interests and goals. She especially enjoys working with children and families to build supportive systems, routines, and strategies that help everyone function and thrive more smoothly. Rachel is also committed to education and outreach, regularly sharing resources and practical tools to increase understanding of occupational therapy and empower families.

She believes in supporting individuals in unmasking and embracing who they are, and is passionate about empowering people to build self-understanding and confidence in a world that does not always accommodate differences. Her doctoral capstone focused on increasing access to outdoor experiences for individuals of all abilities, and she has volunteered for years with adaptive recreation organizations, supporting inclusive, community-based participation.

Outside of her professional work you will likely catch Rachel flying down the trails on her mountain bike, walking her dog to her favorite coffee shop or spending time connecting with her community or partner playing board games or crafting.
